Embedding a Widget on Wordpress

On a page

1. Log into the admin section of your Wordpress site.
2. Find the page you're looking to embed your Widget on and click on 'Edit'
3. Locate the two tabs titled 'Visual' and 'HTML'. Click on the 'HTML' one
4. Scroll down to where you want your Widget to be located
5. Paste the code from Widgety into the page
6. Click on Save Draft / Preview / Publish

NOTE: The <iframe> embed code is the preferred code for uses on Wordpress.

As a Wordpress Widget

On Wordpress, a Widget tends to be a feature you're looking to add into your sidebar or footer, such as a calendar, or links. 

1. Log into the admin section of your Wordpress site.
2. Hover over the 'Appearance' link on the sidebar and select 'Widgets'.
3. Find the 'Text' Widget and click 'Add' or drag it where you want it to be located.
4. Paste the Widgety embed code into the text field provided.
5. Click on 'Save'

Embedding a Widget on WiX

1. Go to the editor of your website and select the page on which you want the Widget to be located.
2. Click on the '+ Add' icon, and click on the 'More' tab located at the bottom of the list.
3. From this new tab, click on the 'HTML Code' button. A grey box will appear on your page.
4. Click on the new box, then click on the wheel icon that will have popped up above it.
5. On this new 'HTML Settings' popup, make sure 'Code' is select. 
6. Paste the code from Widgety into the text box.
7. Click 'Update'

After a few seconds, a preview of your Widget will show in the previously grey box. You may now move and resize the box to where you want it to be.

NOTE: Expanding the box the Widget is embedded in will only change the Widget dimensions if they are set to smaller height/width than the box.

Embedding a Widget on Weebly

1. Go to the editor of your website, and select the page on which you want the Widget to be located.
2. Click on the 'Build' tab at the top.
3. From the left pane, drag the 'Embed Code' box onto your page. 
4. Click on this new box and paste the code from Widgety into it.
5. Click on 'Publish'

NOTE: Weebly will not provide a preview of your Widget in Editor Mode. To view your Widget on the page, you will need to visit the page you have placed it on.
