Norwegian Cruise Line- Based on feedback from our customers, starting thursday 5th September we will start to providing manually mapped cruise names instead of using the data we are currently getting from the NCL feed. This means that, for example, “Australia Product” for the Norwegian Jewel cruise departing on 14/11/2019 will be called “17-Day South Pacific from Papeete” from that point on.
As manual work will be involved, the “true” names for new cruises will only become available the following day, though the cruises themselves will feed through as usual. This means that, for example, a new cruise provided as “Australia Product” in the NCL flat files will only get its “true” name the following day.
Issues
Ponant- the cruise line have been having some issues with adding in new itineraries to their feed, so we are currently missing sailings for most of their ships after April 2021. We are hoping they will be able to resolve this issue soon, but do not currently have a timescale in terms of when those sailings will become available on the Widgety API.
